Everyone if your on the edge about this knife, get it. Its a high quality knife, great for throwing and as a spear, and is worth every penny. Don't listen to some of these reviews because they are misleading. Its nice and heavy and has great stabing power. It was razor sharp right out of the box too.

The quality of the blade is superb, the handle is good.
There is no info included with the knife. There is a lock screw on the handle that has to be backed out first to remove the blade. The blade can be removed without loosening the screw but it will mar the threads on the handle. The back of the blade has a barb on each side that catches the sheath as you pull it out and tears the material. (not a good design). The sheath is a bit on the cheap side, I'm going the make a better one for my knife out of leather.
I smooth the barb tip with a file and stone, this makes it easier to remove it from a sheath.
You will want to store it in a sheath because the blade is very sharp, so grind back of the barb enough that you can use it without getting it stuck in the sheath.

I have owned this knife for about two years and have been very happy with it. When used as a spear it works great. I have went through several cheap shafts, but the blade has held strong. I haven't had any problems with chipping or bending which is often a problem with knives meant for throwing and sticking. The reason for four stars and not five is the cheap handle that comes with it. I only use it when storing the knife to keep the inside of it protected. However, I didn't, and I don't think many people who look at it expect to use it as a knife. The blade is obviously designed for throwing, not stabbing or cutting. Had it been sold without a handle and simply as a well built spear head that can attach to any generic mop/broom handle it would definitely have received five stars from me. Oh, just to clarify, it is built for throwing as a spear not a throwing knife.
